HOW
DOES IT WORK?
Our subscriber's system produces
files via a custom report writer or queries in formats
specified by Crik-IT, and sends these files via
encrypted file transfer methods to the Crik-IT data
center. Crik-IT sees when new data arrives and
makes it available via the web. Depending on our
subscribers requirements, their data is updated
at least nightly, and as often as every half hour.
No
software is installed on the dealer's computer at all. They
simply open Internet Explorer 7 (or newer), go to the
Crik-IT secure website, login with their username and
password, and voila... they can access the information that
their vendors have
authorized them to access. All information is transferred
securely between the dealer's computer and the Crik-IT website using
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology.
WHERE
DOES IT ALL LIVE?
Crik-IT resides in a world-class data center,
a secure hardened facility designed utilizing N+1
philosophy, ensuring that every part of the facility is
not only redundant, but has a hot spare on standby in
case of an emergency. The data center is audited on a
regular basis to ensure that it meets SAS70 and
Department of Defense security requirements. In addition to meeting these
stringent security thresholds, our data center
meets Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, and Payment Card
Industry (PCI) security requirements.
