Sales Analytics & Insights

Reports your accounting software can't give you

See the patterns your ledger hides and the opportunities your competitors miss — and compare any range to the same period last year, on every report.

CrikSales sales analytics is a set of dashboards and named reports for B2B sellers on QuickBooks. It shows revenue trends, top customers and SKUs, at-risk accounts and product segments, and lets you compare any date range to the same period last year, save and share segments, and export to PDF or Excel.

Business Dashboard report

Business Dashboard

What is the best way to visualize year-over-year business growth?

The Overall Yearly Business Overview dashboard provides a side-by-side comparison of YTD revenue against previous years, so you can see seasonal trends and staff and stock ahead of peak periods while keeping a clear view of your total revenue trajectory.

Top 10 SKUs and Customers by Revenue report

Insights that matter

How do I apply the 80/20 rule to my sales strategy?

The Top 10 SKUs and Customers by Revenue reports distill complex accounting data into a prioritized list of profit drivers, so leadership can focus resources on maintaining high-margin relationships rather than over-extending on low-impact activity.

Product Sales Performance report

Product Sales Performance

How do I identify which customers are driving revenue for specific high-value products?

The Product Sales Performance Analysis breaks down revenue by customer for individual SKUs, so you can instantly distinguish broad market appeal from heavy reliance on a single "power buyer" — and build a personalized retention strategy for your most impactful clients.

Customer Analysis report

Customer Analysis

How can I identify top customers, and predict and prevent customer churn?

The Customer Purchase Trend Analysis tracks "Average Days Between Orders" against "Days Since Last Order." A significant gap serves as an early warning for declining engagement — and the "Items Not Purchased" list lets reps reach out with personalized recommendations before you lose the account.

Go deeper on the numbers that matter to you

Every report on every page here supports year-over-year comparison — compare any date range to the same period last year, in one click.

Build a cohort once, share it with the team

Save a customer or product segment and share it with your team instead of rebuilding the same filter every time someone asks "who are our top accounts in the Northeast?" Segments can stay private to you or be shared across the team.

Export any report to PDF or Excel with control over which columns come along — built for the sales meeting and the spreadsheet review alike.

Sales analytics: common questions

CrikSales includes a Sales Dashboard, Revenue Analysis, Sales Trends, a Quotes Summary, and a Sales History Report. For products, it adds SKU analysis and product segmentation. For customers, it adds customer analysis, customer segmentation, and at-risk accounts. All of it runs on the same order data your team already enters, so there is nothing to import.

The At-Risk Accounts and Average Order Value views show which dealers are ordering less or spending less per order. You can compare any date range to the previous period, with up or down arrows and percentage change on each customer. Quotes are tracked the same way, with a summary of quote status across your pipeline.

Yes. At-Risk Accounts exports to Excel and PDF, and customer dashboards export to PDF. Segment tables export to Excel.

Yes. Save a customer or product segment instead of rebuilding the same filter each time. Segments can stay private to you or be shared across the team.

Yes. The Sales Trends page charts revenue, order count, and average order value (AOV) over time. That shows whether growth is coming from more orders or bigger orders.

Yes. Turn on compare periods and CrikSales loads the prior period, such as the same dates last year. It shows the change as an up or down arrow with a percentage next to each customer's revenue and orders.

Yes. Every customer has an Insights tab with a 3-year sales volume comparison (year to date against the full year) and a 3-year chart of sales by month. A third chart shows that customer's top SKUs for each of the three years.

Yes. Each customer's charts use that customer's configured display currency, so a customer billed in another currency sees its own totals.

Use At-Risk Accounts. Pick a product segment and a date range. For each dealer, CrikSales shows days since the last purchase in that segment, days since the last order of any kind, and total orders. A dealer that is still ordering but has dropped a product line stands out from one that has gone quiet altogether. You can export the list to Excel or PDF.

Segmentation groups customers or products by rules you define, such as revenue or product type. After that, each group gets its own analysis page. For customer segments, that page shows total revenue and orders, an AOV trend, revenue concentration, and top products. For product segments, it shows top customers, sales by country, and the products in the segment. Segment pages can also show what changed against a prior period.

Yes. Products Bought Together lists SKU pairs that appear on orders together and how many times each pair appeared, for the date range you choose. Use it for bundles, cross-selling, and stocking decisions.

Yes. Compare Product Segments lets you select several segments and puts them side by side. The charts show revenue share, average order value, and average purchase frequency.

Yes. The sales map breaks sales down by state and city. Geographical Opportunities points to regions where you have room to grow.

Yes. The Quotes Summary shows quotes by status. Combined with the quote tracking in the quote portal, you can see how many quotes are sent, viewed, approved, or expired.

Business Analysis is a Management-role menu. Reps work from Customers, Quotes, and Orders in the Sales Portal instead.
